Since December 2018, the people of Avila have a Citizen Portal of provincial scope, as was happening with each of the provinces as part of the Policy of Computerization and Electronic Government. As a result of the new constitution approved, in which the municipal governments gain strength, work began during 2019 on the creation of the Citizen Portals of each municipality, in a joint work of the governments of each territory, the entities of its municipal administration, and the Desoft Computer Applications Company in charge of the technical tasks of this national project, in the hands of its Territorial Division Ciego de Ávila.
In May, the first of the Citizen Portals of municipal scope in Ciego de Ávila is put online, corresponding to Majagua. It is followed by the portals of Chambas, Ciro Redondo, Ciego de Ávila and Primero de Enero, and now this one, that of our municipality. And a little later they do the rest of the municipalities.

Some online forms are included to facilitate the attention to the population, the consultation or request of some services, or the initiation of procedures, which will gradually increase as the entities prepare to use this tool more and more.

Politics and government, which explains issues related to the Municipal Assembly of People's Power, the people's councils, constituencies and their delegates, the Council of the Municipal Administration, its functions or attributions, structure, as well as the main directors and members.
