    The 39 delegates that make up the Municipal Assembly of People's Power were directly elected by the people in the context of the general elections of the organs of People's Power on December 17, 2017, the date on which the Assembly was constituted for its XVII term with five years.

    The following were elected to the Presidency of the Municipal Assembly:

    • 26 are men, for 66.6%
    • Cuban women, with all their values, are worthily represented by 13 of them for 33.3%.
    • The average age of the Assembly is 45 years.
